Are you a California or Montana based therapist training in NARM and seeking deeper support in your clinical practice? Or are you a licensed therapist working with complex relational trauma or sexual trauma and looking to deepen your skills using the NARM framework? My depth-oriented supervision may be the perfect fit for you.
What is Depth-Oriented Supervision?
Depth-oriented supervision goes beyond focusing on interventions and techniques. It offers space for curious and compassionate inquiry into your emotional landscape, nervous system responses, and beliefs that inform how you show up with clients. We’ll explore issues like countertransference, transference, and what may be getting in the way of you being fully connected, spacious, curious, and present with your clients.
This supervision model is not about telling you what to do but holding space for your self-awareness and clinical growth. It is especially well-suited for therapists in NARM training who already have a primary supervisor but seek more in-depth support.
Who is This Supervision For?
This supervision is ideal for:
- Therapists, Counselors, Clinical Social Workers in training nearing the end of their supervision hours and currently training in or planning to enroll in NARM Level 2.
- Licensed NARM therapists looking for monthly support to deepen their relational presence, self-regulation, and understanding of trauma from a NARM perspective.
- Therapists working with complex relational trauma or sexual trauma who want to sharpen their NARM skills and work through countertransference.
Why Depth-Oriented Supervision through a NARM Lens?
Depth-oriented supervision offers a unique space to explore your emotional landscape, nervous system responses, and beliefs that inform how you show up with clients. This approach allows you to work through countertransference, enhance your relational presence, and gain deeper self-awareness as a therapist.
Supervision from a NARM lens focuses on the therapeutic relationship, supporting your capacity to stay present and connected with both clients and yourself—especially during challenging sessions. You’ll learn what supports you to stay closer to this delicate balance while working with trauma survivors, which can help prevent burnout and compassion fatigue and enhance sharpened clinical judgement.
Therapists trained in NARM often find they experience less burnout and a stronger sense of professional fulfillment, as this model prioritizes mutual respect, autonomy, curiosity, and presence. By deepening your understanding of trauma and sharpening your NARM-informed skills, you’ll be better equipped to offer transformative support to your clients. This supervision will also help you recognize clinical blindspots, refine your approach, and sustain a balanced, relational framework in your practice.
What to Expect:
All supervision is offered virtually, making it convenient whether you’re seeking licensure in California or Montana. Here’s what you can expect:
- Weekly sessions for pre-licensed therapists.
- Once-a-month sessions for licensed therapists who want ongoing NARM-informed support or folks with a primary supervisor who are seeking less frequent NARM specific support.
- Much like a NARM session, each session will begin with exploring what you are wanting for yourself in relation to your work as a therapist, followed by compassionate exploration related to your focus and current needs. Topics can include how you’re showing up with clients, working through clinical blindspots, exploring areas where you feel stuck, etc.
About Me
I’m a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in California & Montana. I’m a certified NARM therapist and level two training assistant with experience supporting therapists integrating the NARM learning framework. I’ve served as the Director of Counseling at Rape Trauma Services (in San Mateo County, CA), where I supervised therapists and crisis responders working with survivors of sexual trauma. I’ve completed Montana and California’s supervisor training certifications and the Trauma Informed Supervision workshop offered through the Complex Trauma Training Center. I also offer trauma-informed business consulting and marketing services.
I’m committed to offering a respectful, curious, and compassionate space to support your self-awareness, refine your clinical and relational skills, and growth as a therapist and human. My supervision style is open, non-judgmental, warm, collaborative, curious and grounded in the principles of NARM. I am also trained in EMDR and can advise on integrating these two models.
Limited Availability: 1-2 Spots Open
